Cake Delivery in PWD: What to Know Before Ordering

Ordering a cake for PWD Housing Society? Here is how to make sure it arrives on time and in perfect condition.

PWD Housing Society is one of the areas we deliver to, along with neighbouring Korang Town and Pakistan Town. A few things make the difference between a smooth delivery and a stressful one.

Send a pinned location

This is the single most useful thing you can do. Street numbering repeats between blocks and phases across PWD, and a written address alone often means a phone call from the gate. A dropped pin on WhatsApp removes the guesswork and usually means your cake reaches you sooner.

Keep the receiver’s phone reachable around the delivery window, particularly if the cake is a surprise being sent to someone else.

How delivery charges work

Delivery is charged separately from the cake and depends on how far you are from us. We quote it once we know the exact location, and you pay for delivery when the cake arrives rather than in advance. Full details are on our cake delivery page.

Timing your order

Weekend evenings are the busiest time for celebration cakes, so if you need one for a Saturday night birthday, tell us as early as you can. For same-week orders just ask — we would rather check than have you assume we are full.

How the cake travels

Every cake leaves on a sturdy board inside a closed box so it stays level on the way. When it arrives, keep it flat and refrigerated until you cut it, and let a fresh cream cake sit out of the fridge for a few minutes before serving.

If you have your heart set on a tall or heavily decorated design, mention it when you order so we can advise how well it will travel. Browse the gallery or start with the custom cake form.
